As an electrician you will carry out electrical repairs, installations and testing across homes, delivering high‑quality work that meets compliance and safety standards. You will use a multi‑skilled approach to complete whole jobs the first time, record job details in real time using mobile technology, and take pride in helping customers feel safe and supported.
You will work Monday to Friday, 08:30 am‑16:30 pm, covering a patch from Carlisle to Eskdale and key locations in between, with a van provided for business use.
The role requires NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation (or equivalent), knowledge of 18th Edition IET wiring regulations and Inspection & Testing (2391), strong fault‑finding skills, and a whole‑job repair mindset. Experience in housing maintenance, a full UK driving licence, confidence using mobile technology and a basic DBS are also essential.
Earn £38,372 per annum plus a van with on‑call rota allowance. The role is permanent, full‑time (37.5 hpw) covering properties in the North Lakes of Cumbria. We cannot offer a CoS for this position.
