Tasks

You’ll be involved from concept to completion, leading or supporting the design, analysis, and delivery of projects. Depending on your experience and goals, you’ll either focus on design development or take on project management responsibilities, working closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams. -Conduct hydraulic and hydrologic analyses and equipment sizing, ensuring compliance with applicable standards. -Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders. -Lead projects as a Project Manager, coordinating with clients, subconsultants, and contractors to meet quality, budget, and schedule objectives. -Plan, design, and manage water and wastewater treatment and conveyance projects. -Provide construction administration and inspection support during project delivery. -Stay current with industry standards, modeling tools, and emerging technologies in municipal engineering. -Prepare designs, drawings, specifications, reports, and contract documents for municipal infrastructure. -Support proposal development and expressions of interest.

What You Bring

-Experience in water supply, treatment & distribution, wastewater collection & treatment, stormwater management, and land development. -Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., PCSWMM, XP-SWMM, InfoWorks, EPANET, WaterCAD). -Prior experience in a consulting environment. -P.Eng. or E.I.T. designation (or eligibility for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists BC). -Minimum 6 years of experience in municipal engineering, with a focus on water and wastewater systems. -Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as required. -Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. -Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering. -Familiarity with municipal standards and design guidelines. -PMP designation or project management training.
