Serves as the principal manager responsible for the scheduling of facilities operations and construction activities performed at NGA Washington facilities and grounds.
Resolves scheduling conflicts and works with contract staff and the client to resolve unforeseen delays - addresses issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption.
Analyzes service requirements, production specifications and workforce capacity data to optimize scheduling.
Keeps accurate documentation and when necessary, performs analysis of activities and processes to improve contract performance.
Oversees product and service delivery procedures to identify any deviations from quality standards; recommends and/or implements corrective action such that products and services meet or exceed expectations.
Working closely with the client, gains an understanding of their needs and requirements and communicates them and the appropriate performance standards to the contract staff and supporting vendors.
Coordinates operations workflow for one or multiple lines of services or products.
Works closely with the production and operations management teams to set priorities and manage conflicts.
Devises ways to improve the full spectrum of the base operations and services service delivery process to ensure high-quality goods and services are delivered on time and within cost.
Pro-actively seeks feedback from clients, attends meetings, submits reports, and assists both internal and external auditors and inspectors.
Monitors jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget.
Determines manpower, equipment, and materials needed to fulfill contract requirements and activities.

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a scheduler in programs and contracts of similar size, scope and complexity
A minimum of 1 year of experience scheduling construction activities or facilities operations.
A bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a technical or business related fieldÂ
Industry recognized certification in Program and/or Project of Facility Management (e.g. Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), Certified Facility Manager (CFM), etc.) is desired.
Strong technical knowledge of facilities maintenance and construction operations, including complex mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, structural systems, vertical transportation and data center operations, is highly desired.
Demonstrated ability to lead in a diverse and dynamic environment with short-notice tastings and under high-pressure situations.
A minimum of 3 years of experience using Microsoft Project software. Experience with other industry recognized project management software - e.g. Primavera, Smartsheet, Autodesk, etc. - is a plus.
