In this role you will install and commission intruder alarm, CCTV, doorbell and access‑control systems while delivering a high‑class customer experience. You will solve problems, build relationships and identify sales opportunities for personal reward. Reliability, trustworthiness and self‑motivation are essential, as you will work both independently and as part of a team. You must also keep accurate records, mileage, expenses and timesheets, and represent Johnson Controls positively in line with its values.
The essential requirements include a full UK manual driver’s licence, the ability to carry and climb ladders, work at height and use hand and power tools safely. Candidates must be reliable, trustworthy, self‑motivated and able to exceed customer expectations through excellent communication and relationship‑building skills. Familiarity with smartphones, tablets and PCs is required, and a security check will be performed after an offer is made. Preferred qualifications are electrical experience or certifications and prior experience installing or servicing residential security systems.
Customer Solutions Technicians are field‑based and install security products for ADT’s fire and security brand, including intruder alarms, video doorbells and CCTV systems.
