  • Tenant Services Performs minor repairs and installations pertaining to non-structural and non-vital systems of the property as required (incl. plumbing, light fixture replacement, touch up painting, asphalt patching, installation and repair of ceramic tiles, replacement of ceiling tiles and carpeting, interior and exterior plastering, routine roof inspections, dry-walling, minor carpentry, common area door repairs, installation and maintenance of directional signage); keeps all maintenance repair logs for the property to ensure uninterrupted operation of non-vital building systems.
  • Building Maintenance Performs routine, preventative and ad-hoc maintenance and schedule programming of all building and site equipment (incl. HVAC, fire, life, safety and emergency systems, energy and ground-keeping equipment) and structural components of the building to ensure the property adheres to the company standard policies & procedures.
  • Contractor Projects Supervises contractors working on-site; coordinates receipts of quotes from various third-party service providers as required.
  • Life, Safety and Emergency Systems Ensures all building life, safety and emergency systems are maintained: including the routine fire alarm tests and fire warden meetings and compliance with all Health and Safety, Risk Management and environmental policies and procedures as they relate to the property; responsible for log keeping related to building general as well as life and safety systems.

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in building operations or related trades.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Client service and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience at a retail centre is an asset
  • College Diploma or a Certification in one of the core building operations systems (e.g. HVAC, Boiler etc.)
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Excellent technical trouble-shooting and problem solving skills
  • Neat and tidy appearance of person and uniform.
  • Valid driver’s license is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently
