The HR Manager, reporting to the Director of HR, leads the HR team and oversees execution of policies and programs covering talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, leadership coaching, training, and compliance. The role acts as a resource for managers and employees, aligning HR initiatives with business strategy and fostering an inclusive, high‑performance culture.
The HR Manager collaborates closely with the Director of HR on strategic projects, workforce planning, and succession initiatives, while supervising HR generalists and administrative support.
- Lead and develop the HR team, providing coaching, performance feedback, and aligning priorities with organizational goals.
- Ensure accurate, timely HR processes and compliance with company policies and employment laws.
- Design and execute best‑in‑class recruiting and onboarding programs to deliver a positive candidate and new‑hire experience.
- Conduct employee investigations, resolve relations issues, and promote an inclusive workplace of belonging.
- Drive engagement initiatives, culture‑building programs, and consistently apply HR policies.
- Coordinate performance review cycles, deliver coaching, recognition, and development resources for employees and managers.
- Provide classroom and virtual training on leadership and associate development, overseeing Individual Development Plans.
- Manage compensation and benefits administration, salary grading, market benchmarking, and cost‑of‑living adjustments.
- Maintain HRIS data integrity, generate reports, and measure key HR metrics such as turnover and time‑to‑fill.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase HR efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Director of HR on strategic projects, workforce planning, and succession strategies.

- Hold a bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field and 5+ years of progressive HR experience with supervisory duties.
- Possess strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office.
- Preferred professional HR certification (SHRM‑CP or PHR).
- Demonstrate leadership, communication, problem‑solving, confidentiality, change management, and analytical thinking skills.
