

Develops factory‑built small modular nuclear reactors delivering low‑carbon, affordable energy at scale
Reporting to the Head of Procurement, the role leads a large team responsible for sourcing, negotiating and managing contracts for the specialised materials and services needed to build the SMR power plant, applying category‑management principles across direct material and service categories.
The incumbent will develop strong supplier relationships, use data and analytics to drive innovation and risk mitigation, monitor performance against cost, schedule and quality targets, and lead cost‑reduction initiatives while ensuring compliance with legal, ethical and sustainability standards.
Candidates will undergo additional nuclear‑industry screening, including BPSS clearance, a DBS check and a basic financial probity check; the company welcomes applicants who meet at least 75 % of the criteria and encourages people with transferable skills to apply.
