The Field Operations Lead will oversee day‑to‑day site operations for assigned projects, lead installation crews, coordinate sub‑trades, and ensure a safe, efficient workflow. Responsibilities include conducting daily site meetings, tracking progress, maintaining site organization and cleanliness, inspecting workmanship against drawings and the Ontario Building Code, and managing health‑ and safety compliance through toolbox talks and PPE enforcement.
Collaboration with Project Managers to keep construction schedules on track, coordinate material deliveries, and communicate job‑site status is essential, as is representing the company professionally with homeowners, handling warranty issues, and maintaining client confidence. The role also involves training junior installers, mentoring apprentices, and contributing to the development of standard operating procedures to improve field processes.
Candidates should have 8–12 years of residential construction experience in Ontario, including 3–5 years in a site‑leadership or construction‑management role, strong hands‑on skills in framing, glazing, roofing or related trades, and a solid understanding of the Ontario Building Code and construction drawings. Excellent communication, leadership, problem‑solving abilities, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel throughout the GTA are required.
