Performs office surveying work requiring the application of advanced techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related surveying tasks.
Prepares design, topographic, boundary and ALTA survey maps.
Reviews policies of title insurance for ALTA/NSPS surveys.
Sets up and checks of aerial photogrammetric surveys.
Reviews calculations and computations for topographic, boundary and ALTA survey maps.
Responsible for creation of survey data, calculations and computations.
Displays precision and accuracy in all assignments.
Prepares elevation certificates as needed.
May prepare packages containing all necessary data for field survey.
Calculates traverses and closures.
Applies standard practices and techniques in specific situations, adjusts and correlates data, recognizes discrepancies in results and follows operations through a series of related detailed steps.
Using prescribed methods, performs specific and limited portions of larger assignments.
Participates in the resolution of moderate to complex survey problems.
Compiles and reviews data from the field for completeness and provides information to the Survey Project Manager.

Read survey field notes, write land descriptions.
Conducts court house and property records research.
