The Service Department is seeking a part‑time intern to support the EWC service team. The role involves coordinating planned and emergent work, handling emergency dispatches, and communicating with internal teams and field staff. The intern also assists with customer outreach for meter changes and helps maintain the Periodic Meter Change program.
- Dispatch and assign planned and emergent service work for the EWC team
- Route emergency calls to service technicians
- Respond to emails, phone calls, and Teams messages from peers and field staff
- Contact customers for escalation issues, schedule large‑meter changes, and reschedule appointments
- Support Periodic Meter Change program with account reviews, tag notifications, and manual letter launches

Benefits
The position is a four‑to‑six‑month, non‑benefit‑eligible internship, offering up to 29 hours per week between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday‑Friday, at $17.00 per hour.
