Manages structural aspects of projects and/or multi-disciplinary projects.
Assist in proposal development
Perform constructability reviews
Actively participate and lead the delivering of quality work, providing excellent client service, and assisting in preparing proposals on various pursuits
Mentor the design team
Takes active mentoring role; encourages, motivates, and develops staff for high performance.
Develop Design pursuit structural packages
Construction document production, including drawings, specifications and cost estimates
Design & analysis of new and existing bridges, retaining walls, culverts, sign structures, and other structures related to the transportation industry
Providing quality check of engineer's computations, designs, or inspection reports

Professional Licensure and Society Memberships
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Minimum 15 years’ experience in the structural design and management of bridges and infrastructure projects.
Detailed understanding of structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, pre-stressed concrete, and timber structures, related to transportation.
Bridge load ratings
Proficiency in the use of OpenBridge and MicroStation (preferred) and/or AutoCAD
Current driver's license and safe driving record
Ability to lead engineering on bridge and infrastructure projects and are able to play a key role in project delivery from inception to construction, with proven ability to work with clients.
PA PE License required
Ability to use structural analysis and design software, such as Midas, LARS, MDX, V-Bent, CSi Bridge, Leap Bridge, STAAD, AASHTOWARE, PennDOT Programs
Familiarity with MS Excel, Word and Mathcad
