Participates in maintaining ISO certification.
Operation of the pay-off and take-up equipment.
Welds rod to maintain rod-to-rod operation.
Generate product identification tags for finished product and maintains accurate record keeping of all pertinent information required by Marmon Utility, including work center line log.
Visually inspects all empty take-up reels for proper size, strength, appearance and inside of
Monitors solution (Annealer) and die lubricating levels to ensure smooth operation
Selection and installation of gears and dies.
Responsible in keeping equipment and work area in a clean and orderly fashion.
Mechanically sets up both lines, pay-off through take-up operation, including installation of appropriate tooling (dies) and all auxiliary line equipment needed to produce specified gauge sizes of stranded conductor described by the process instructions.
Participates in scheduled team meetings and contributes to continuous improvement.
Welds wire to maintain spool-to-spool operation.
Adheres to applicable System Level Procedures (SLP) and Process Controls (PC). Follows the production tracking report schedule.
Verifies the measuring devices are calibrated.
Performs required measurements with company approved measuring devices to ensure final process meets the required specifications (reference PC 034 and PC 025).
Consistently monitors the supply of raw material to ensure a continuous operation.
Takes corrective action to ensure quality product.
Identification and tagging of finished product.
Complies with company safety rules at all times during working hours and ensures the safety of himself/herself and others at his/her operating station.
Operates the take-up machine and puts up a neat looking reel free of crossovers/loops.
