Promote appropriate change and improvement.
Review and qualify new suppliers to MPWA standards, working with cross-functional teams to qualify specific components and supplier processes.
Conduct supplier evaluations and support the development of key suppliers.
Lead containment activities for supplier-related quality escapes and improve efficiency of screening defects.
Interface with business units, cross-functional groups and suppliers on support tasks related to Quality & OTD, FA (Failure Analysis), RCCA (Root Cause Analysis / Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions).
Work autonomously, prioritize the workload, assess escalation needs.
Review and approve supplier inspection records to ensure all documentation requirements are received and compiled to project documentation packages.
Manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently.

bachelors engineering
5+ years of Quality or Supplier Quality engineering experience.
Certified Quality Engineer or equivalent (preferred).
Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and organizational skills.
Deep knowledge of ISO9001 standards and auditing experience.
Travel as needed (up to 50%).
Experience in casting/forgings, welding, and machining preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial preferred).
Solid understanding of receiving inspection processes including statistical sampling, component measurement techniques, specifications, and drawings.
