Knowledge of the philosophy, principles and implementation of lean manufacturing and capability to apply this knowledge in existing production and management processes.
Previous experience with company products, and sources of supply
Knowledge of material handling and management in plants and the ability to monitor and improve processes related to storage, transportation and handling of raw and hazardous materials.
Knowledge of logistics in order to implement processes and operations for effective and efficient movement of materials and finished products.
Registered Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) or Engineer in Training (EIT) in good standing with a Canadian engineering association.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
Broad knowledge of line scheduling, rates of production, machines, tooling, set-ups, unit variations, orders and speeds of operation, capacities, sheets, blueprints, alternative processes.
A Bachelor of Science Degree Mechanical, Industrial, Logistics or Manufacturing Engineering.
