The BIM Designer will report to the Director of VDC/BIM Services and will be responsible for creating and coordinating accurate Revit models for a variety of construction projects. This includes developing and managing central models, sheets, views, legends, schedules, and families, as well as preparing construction drawings, revisions, and final record sets. The role also involves collaborating with project teams to align BIM models with construction requirements, supporting clash detection in Navisworks, and providing prefabrication‑ready models for field use.
The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with at least one year of Revit/BIM experience (or five years in electrical construction) and proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Microsoft 365, and Bluebeam. Strong communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and problem‑solving skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and travel 5–10% for onsite work. Experience in healthcare, commercial, industrial, or mission‑critical projects and familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud are preferred.
