Trainee Passive Fire Estimator

Description

• Respond to customer enquiries with market leading advice that ensures the most compliant and cost-effective solution.
• Provide market leading customer service and advice by keeping up to date with the latest legislative guidance and manufacture technical information.
• Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with our Health and Safety system
• Report to the department head for lead and sales and pipeline forecasting.
• Estimate remedial works projects of various values and sizes, considering the specific site conditions and requirements.
• Liaise with other departments and inter business companies.
• Issue estimates, follow ups and update leads in a timely manner.
• Make and receive customer phone calls.
• Log and keep track of inbound/outbound enquiries.
• Liaise and handover to the projects team upon order acceptance.
• Build and maintain strong bonds with stakeholders, manufacturers, suppliers and subcontractors.

Requirements

• Ability to follow process with strong attention to detail
• Clear communicator with good telephone manner with colleagues and customers
• A working knowledge of fire door and fire stopping systems is not essential but a bonus
• Previous experience with passive fire customer service / estimating roles is not essential but a bonus
• Self-Motivated Personality - Energy, Drive and Enthusiasm
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities with a structured approach
• Ability to use a computer and complex programmes.
• Impeccable literacy skills
