Participate in project management activities, including scheduling, task coordination, and managing deliverables to ensure timely project completion.
Use design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks) to create detailed models, schematics, and construction documents that align with project specifications.
Lead the development of engineering designs for complex components of projects, including preparing detailed technical drawings and calculations.
Work collaboratively and effectively with clients and colleagues, including cross-functional teams, peers, direct reports, and leadership, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Conduct research on materials, technologies, and applicable regulations to ensure that designs are compliant with industry standards and best practices.
Perform engineering analyses, calculations, and simulations to verify that designs meet client, code, and regulatory requirements.
Attend client and team meetings to present design concepts, provide technical updates, and address project concerns.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure the seamless integration of building systems.
Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, resolve technical issues on-site, and ensure that design intent is being followed during execution.

Ability to remain seated for extended periods while working at a computer or attending meetings.
Communication skills for interacting with clients, consultants, and project teams.
Advanced technical drafting and detailing skills.
Awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends in engineering.
Ability to manage project timelines and ensure that deliverables are completed on time.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person, over the phone, and through written communication.
Adapt to changing business needs and priorities, demonstrating flexibility in taking on new responsibilities and adjusting to evolving challenges.
Strong understanding of engineering principles, building systems, and construction methods.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for addressing design challenges.
Occasional light physical activity such as walking, standing, or carrying materials (up to25lbs.).
Familiarity with building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.
3-4 years of experience in engineering design and project delivery.
Ability to perform field inspections and verify that construction meets design specifications.
Time management and organizational skills for balancing multiple project responsibilities.
Frequent use of standard office equipment, including computers, keyboards, telephones, and printers.
Engineer In Training (EIT) certification.
