Description

• Develop business cases, support funding needs, and define business requirements to ensure product performance standards are met.
• Mentor and coach junior designers, promoting strong design craft and a culture of innovation, quality, and accountability.
• Partner with UX/UI analysts to ensure digital solutions meet both business outcomes and technical feasibility.

Experience Design Lead

BEPC is seeking a highly skilled Experience Design Lead to support our client’s Digital Experience team in transforming how patients and customers engage with healthcare solutions. This position plays a pivotal role in shaping strategy, defining digital-forward experience standards, and driving user-centered design across the Customer Experience (CX) Suite.

• Strong cross-functional stakeholder alignment skills.
• Knowledge of workflow tools, automation systems, and compliance frameworks.
• Demonstrated mentorship and coaching abilities.
• Experience creating or managing a design system.
• Proven adaptability to evolving, ambiguous landscapes.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, operations, science, marketing, or related field.
• Experience collaborating with Legal, Compliance, and Privacy teams to ensure governance adherence.
• Own end-to-end experience design initiatives, ensuring alignment with operational execution, measurable outcomes, and adoption.
• Ability to drive innovation and experimentation in digital product environments.
• Advanced degree (MBA or related).
• 10+ years of professional experience, including 7+ years in experience design, product design, or UX design.
• Proven ability to manage full product lifecycle: visioning, roadmap development, execution, and performance measurement.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence leaders and evangelize product vision.
• Success managing complex, multi-layered strategic initiatives.
• Experience working in or mentoring teams in an agile environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with both short-term delivery and long-term strategic thinking.
• Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or regulated environments.

Pay Rate: $95.00 - $102.29 per hour

Location: South San Francisco, CA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
