The role supports the delivery of innovative business solutions and reliable technology infrastructure, overseeing cross‑divisional initiatives, coordinating high‑impact programs, and acting as a liaison between leadership, project teams and stakeholders.
There are two focus areas: (a) Committee & Council (24‑month) – overseeing divisional administration, business operations, and committee/council initiatives; providing operational oversight, driving clarity on deliverables, streamlining processes, and preparing documentation and reports; and (b) Engagement (12‑month) – providing administrative and logistical support for engagement initiatives such as employee recognition, diversity and inclusion, coordinating planning, budgeting, and event delivery.
Core responsibilities common to both positions include implementing program plans, tracking timelines and budgets, providing administrative support such as scheduling and documentation, preparing reports and presentations, managing SharePoint sites and dashboards, serving as a point of contact for stakeholders, delivering customer service, handling confidential information, and using corporate systems in accordance with information management practices.
Required qualifications include a post‑secondary education in business, communications, public policy, human resources or a related field (or equivalent experience), extensive experience coordinating programs and projects in large organizations, strong writing and proofreading skills for senior audiences, experience with stakeholder engagement, research and data analysis, knowledge of municipal operations and relevant legislation, excellent organizational, interpersonal and collaboration abilities, professionalism with confidential data, proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration platforms, ability to work independently, travel as needed, and flexible availability including evenings and weekends.
