The Risk and Performance Coordinator provides comprehensive support for risk management and performance monitoring activities. The role maintains risk registers, performance dashboards, and supports compliance workflows to enable proactive risk identification and performance optimization across the organization.
Key responsibilities include maintaining and updating risk registers, assessments and mitigation plans; supporting risk identification workshops and review meetings; monitoring mitigation progress and escalating high‑priority actions; tracking KPIs and updating dashboards using Azara/Tableau; preparing analysis and trend reports for performance reviews; and managing SharePoint sites, workflows and version‑controlled documentation.
The coordinator also prepares regular risk and performance reports for management committees, generates executive summaries, and supports audit and regulatory reviews by compiling required documentation. Communication of risk alerts and performance updates to relevant stakeholders is a core part of the role.
Essential qualifications include GCSEs or equivalent; A‑levels, vocational qualifications or relevant professional training in risk management or business analysis are preferred. Technical skills required are proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with SharePoint administration or risk management systems is advantageous.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical and strategic thinking, a proactive approach to identifying risks and performance improvement opportunities, and meticulous attention to detail. Effective communication, stakeholder management, reliability, self‑motivation, adaptability and a results‑focused mindset are also critical.
