What you would be doing

In this role, you’ll be the trusted expert ensuring our people and systems run smoothly every day. You’ll balance hands-on troubleshooting with proactive problem-solving—keeping our operations secure, connected, and efficient.

  • Assist in vulnerability scanning, remediation, and compliance initiatives (HIPAA, SOC2).
  • Monitor and respond to cybersecurity alerts, phishing attempts, and suspicious activity.
  • Ensure endpoint protection and patching are consistent, effective, and compliant.
  • Participate in special IT and cross-functional projects that modernize how we work.
  • Make an Impact: Support technology that powers healthcare, education, and commercial innovation.
  • Promote cybersecurity awareness through training and best-practice guidance.
  • Deploy and maintain workstations, applications, and devices to keep our teams performing at their best.
  • Document solutions and contribute to continuous improvement in IT processes.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal partners to resolve system issues and improve reliability.
  • Provide thoughtful, timely technical support (in person and remotely) with professionalism and empathy.
  • Maintain and manage IT inventory, ensuring all equipment and software are up to date.
  • Support user access controls, including MFA and password policies.
  • Document and escalate security incidents in partnership with IT leadership.

Cybersecurity Knowledge

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills—professional, clear, and approachable.
  • Experience with endpoint protection tools, IAM/MFA, and vulnerability management.
  • 2–3 years of IT support experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Windows environments, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Awareness of frameworks such as HIPAA or SOC2 preferred.
  • Working understanding of cybersecurity principles (risk mitigation, threat vectors, incident response).
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with a proactive mindset.
