Participates in new installations and modifications to existing equipment to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous and unreliable performance of equipment.
Assist the department with technical procedures for procurement
Proactive follow-up of maintenance work in the field of health and safety to help the factory reach its goals.
Help locates and determines electrical malfunctions using test instruments such as ammeter, multi-meter, and temperature probe.
Contribute to the preparation of EPLs (One page lectures) and procedures for performing standard maintenance missions
Assist with installation of new production and facility equipment, assist with electrical modifications to existing equipment, and relocation of existing equipment.
Employee is required to keep work area neat, clean, and free from hazards.
Observes functioning of installed equipment to detect hazards, problems, and the need for service, repair and/or replacement of electrical components.
Assis with repairs, maintains, and installs electrical systems and equipment such as, but not limited to, motors, drives, wiring and associated devices.

Maintains a high level of work ethics and safety, in all aspects of electrical work that is being completed.
All work must comply with all safety regulations (i.e., OSHA, Company, and local codes where applicable).
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions such as hot, cold, rain and humidity
Ability to lift up to 50lbs, use hoist or assistance for weight above 50lbs
Ability to assist in carrying out maintenance activities
Follow-up use of LOTO / entry permit
3 years in electrical maintenance work within manufacturing is preferred
Education within electrical subjects
Ability to use electrical testing equipment proficiently for troubleshooting.
Ability to walk long distances, climb stairs, ladders, bend, squat, crawl, kneel and stand for long periods of time
Ability to follow instructions and advice from senior electricians
Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial lift platform licenses.
Must be able and willing to assume other responsibilities, within reason and with proper instruction, deemed necessary to meet optimum labor utilization.
