The Quality Inspector will support the production team’s goal of manufacturing quality interior and exterior doors by conducting in‑process and finished‑product inspections and ensuring QMS procedures are followed. Responsibilities include monitoring inspection processes, inspecting doors per SOPs, reporting defects to team leads and managers, assisting in correcting non‑conformances, and providing training for certification. Additional duties may involve using and calibrating basic measuring instruments such as calipers and tape measures.
The role requires strong interpersonal skills to build bonds with production team members, resolve differences, and add value, as well as the ability to listen to and understand team perspectives. Candidates must have intermediate computer literacy, be able to create spreadsheets, and communicate digitally. A high school diploma or GED and 1‑2 years of quality inspection experience, along with Microsoft Office proficiency, are required.
