3rd shift Quality Auditor

Description

The Quality Inspector will support the production team’s goal of manufacturing quality interior and exterior doors by conducting in‑process and finished‑product inspections and ensuring QMS procedures are followed. Responsibilities include monitoring inspection processes, inspecting doors per SOPs, reporting defects to team leads and managers, assisting in correcting non‑conformances, and providing training for certification. Additional duties may involve using and calibrating basic measuring instruments such as calipers and tape measures.

• Conduct in‑process inspections of interior and exterior doors.
• Inspect finished doors according to standard operating procedures.
• Report defect issues to Production Team Leads and Quality Managers.
• Assist in correcting non‑conformances across departments.
• Provide training for production team certification.
• Build strong bonds with production team members and resolve differences.
• Create spreadsheets and communicate digitally using Microsoft Office.

Requirements

The role requires strong interpersonal skills to build bonds with production team members, resolve differences, and add value, as well as the ability to listen to and understand team perspectives. Candidates must have intermediate computer literacy, be able to create spreadsheets, and communicate digitally. A high school diploma or GED and 1‑2 years of quality inspection experience, along with Microsoft Office proficiency, are required.

• Calibrate and use measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures.
• Maintain a high school diploma or GED with 1–2 years of inspection experience.
• Utilize intermediate computer literacy for documentation and reporting.
