What you would be doing

Perform qualitative and quantitative exposure and risk assessments for a variety of chemicals
Assist with the production of technical work products, presentations, and proposals
Interact with clients on projects, both in-person and electronically
Work with senior scientists who serve as testifying experts in toxic tort litigation
Critically evaluate published scientific papers and reports in the environmental sciences, industrial hygiene, toxicology, epidemiology, and occupational medicine fields
Review and summarize legal documents, including deposition and trial testimony
Conduct research that may be presented at scientific conferences or submitted to scientific journals

Doctoral degree in toxicology, pharmacology (or related field), who has had some classroom experience of the following disciplines:
Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
We seek those who which to contribute to the profession via writing papers for scientific journals
Record of publishing scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals on topics related to toxicology or environmental science is desirable
Toxicology (several courses)
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a desire to work in a position with a heavy emphasis on both technical and lay writing
Must be self-motivated, highly detail-oriented, adaptable, and effective with time management
