  • Stay Connected! Log in daily to your JobAps Personal Status Board to track your status and check email (including spam/junk folders) for updates and tasks.
  • Receive training in the licensing process by reviewing applications and reports filed by broker-dealer and investment adviser registrants to determine compliance with financial reporting and other statutory requirements.
  • Completes independent assignments as necessary;
  • Receive training in the creation of examination memos and documentation of an exam.
  • Assists professional staff in performance of their duties;
  • May prepare reports.

  • Experience writing and proofing reports based on information gathered.
  • Experience researching State and Federal regulatory updates.
  • Receive training in enforcement investigations, including reviewing and analyzing financial and business records.
  • Experience prioritizing work assignments with competing deadlines.
  • Receives practical training in application of theories and concepts relevant to work of employing agency;
  • Experience in researching and documenting information on technological trends.
  • Second, third and fourth year college students or graduate students currently enrolled in an accredited college pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, economics or business.

  • Knowledge of principles, theories and concepts of appropriate discipline and ability to apply them in practical situations.
  • Experience collecting and analyzing data sets.
  • Up to 20 hours per week.
