The Neighbourhood Manager role involves delivering exceptional neighbourhood management for a diverse portfolio of residential and mixed‑tenure buildings. The post holder will enhance resident safety, wellbeing and satisfaction, ensure regulatory compliance, conduct estate inspections, manage building safety, and address issues such as noise complaints and safeguarding.
- Conduct estate, scheme, and property inspections to maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness.
- Support residents with tenancy management issues such as noise complaints, disputes, and safeguarding concerns.
- Work closely with internal departments and external partners to address building maintenance and safety.
- Engage with residents through regular communication, ensuring their concerns are heard and acted upon.
- Provide tailored support to vulnerable individuals and families, ensuring their needs are met.
- Gather feedback from residents to continually improve services and ensure satisfaction.
- Represent the company in external meetings, attend court proceedings, and support residents through various issues.

Job title: Neighbourhood Manager. Location: Hybrid / Winchester. Salary: £34,800 - £36,631 FTE (£27,840 - £29,305 pro rata for 28 hours). Working hours: 28 hours per week across four days Monday‑Friday. Contract: 12‑month fixed term. DBS: Standard check required. A full UK driving licence and own car are essential.
- Experience in customer‑facing roles such as housing, community work, local authority services, social care, or comparable fields handling issues, cases or complaints.
- Ability to work independently, manage a busy workload and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Confident communicator who can engage residents, challenge behaviour when required and build strong professional relationships; highly organised.
- Excellent attention to detail and accurate record‑keeping; comfortable conducting regular estate visits, inspections and face‑to‑face meetings.
- Strong IT literacy, quick to learn new systems and understand safeguarding principles with a willingness to escalate concerns appropriately.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car essential.
- Awareness of tenancy law, ASB processes, or building safety.
- Experience supporting vulnerable people or managing complex cases.
- Training/qualification in safeguarding, ASB, mediation, or health & safety.
- Experience using CRM systems or case‑management tools.
