As a Senior Diesel Mechanic you will maintain and repair trucks and equipment serving over 20 million customers nationwide. You will use modern tools and procedures to service diesel and, at some sites, CNG trucks, ensuring each vehicle leaves the shop ready to support the community.
The role involves regular physical activity such as lifting, pushing, pulling, standing, and climbing, and it may expose you to hazards like cuts, burns, chemicals, noise, and weather extremes. Work is performed both inside the garage and outdoors, adhering to OSHA and corporate safety standards.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems
- Estimate time and material costs for repairs
- Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs)
- Respond to emergency breakdown service calls
- Conduct safety checks on all vehicles
- Complete required paperwork documenting parts and labor
- Assist senior mechanics with project work
- Review and assign repairs from Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
- Maintain a clean, safe work area per OSHA standards

- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Eligibility to work in the United States and age 18+
