  • Work collaboratively with Project management on the safe planning of the work while keeping them informed of issues and summarizing information and trends
  • Meet and enforce all safety rules and regulations
  • Ensure that all health and safety project plans are implemented and Track the project’s safety compliance
  • Lead and manage the BOND Safety Plan on a Project Level
  • Liaise with external agents and inspectors related to safety and health
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with owners’ safety personnel, leading communication with them throughout project
  • Monitor and supervise all operations, workers and subcontractors, reporting the safety compliance of the project to BOND and the client
  • Conduct accident/incident investigations, 7-step review meetings, and follow up with Safety Support Services
  • Produce regular safety inspections within Procore
  • Manage all subcontractor safety related issues along with Project Management. Proactively engage subcontractor safety officers / managers to attend scheduled walkthroughs and site inspections
  • Mentor subordinates and promote team atmosphere reflecting BOND’s values
  • Attend project kick-off meeting and review subcontractors’ safety materials for the job
  • Regularly complete safety inspections of all projects, ensuring each item is successfully addressed in a timely manner
  • Provide input and assistance with pre-task planning, including subcontractor compliance

  • Requires exceptional leadership, interpersonal skills and ability to maintain positive working relationships
  • Must have excellent time management and prioritization skills to ensure deadlines are met while providing accurate deliverables
  • Must be a competent public speaker and safety trainer.
  • BS in Occupational Safety preferred with 3-5 years’ experience in the Construction Industry
