  • Lead planning teams on large-scale projects or multiple work fronts.
  • Incorporate critical oil & gas activities such as wellhead installations, pipeline tie-ins, refinery units, and offshore platform work scopes into planning.
  • Identify schedule risks and opportunities, perform schedule risk analysis (e.g., using Monte Carlo simulations).
  • Coach junior planners and ensure consistent application of planning standards and best practices.
  • Develop and manage progress measurement systems (physical and earned value-based).
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across global locations and time zones.
  • Produce executive dashboards, progress curves, and forecasts.
  • Provide periodic schedule updates and detailed variance analyses to stakeholders.
  • Support change management and claims analysis with schedule impact assessments.
  • Plan and track activities across Conceptual, FEED, EPC, and Operations/Commissioning stages.
  • Work closely with Cost Control, Risk, and Engineering teams to ensure schedule alignment with budgets, forecasts, and risk mitigation plans.
  • Integrate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up activities into a unified project plan.
  • Establish baseline schedules and manage change control to track progress and deviations.
  • Integration with Project Controls
  • Recommend corrective and preventive actions to minimize delays and cost overruns.
  • Monitor key milestones, KPIs, and performance indices (SPI, CPI).
  • Ensure planning aligns with project execution strategies and contractual requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain detailed Level 1 to Level 5 schedules using Primavera P6 (or equivalent software).
  • Interface with contractors and vendors to collect and validate schedule data.

  • Advanced Excel and data visualization (Power BI, dashboards) skills preferred
  • Understanding of construction sequencing, fabrication schedules, and interface management.
  • Oil & Gas Project Lifecycle Expertise
  • * Familiarity with EPCM and lump-sum turnkey (LSTK) contracting strategies.
  • Expert proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and project controls software.
  • Strong knowledge of EPC workflows, resource loading, critical path analysis, and earned value management.
  • Training or certification in Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent.
  • * Experience with onshore, offshore, brownfield, and greenfield projects.
  • * 15–20 years of experience in project planning/scheduling within oil & gas, petrochemical, or energy industries.
  • PMI-SP (Scheduling Professional), PMP (Project Management Professional), or equivalent.
  • Apply comprehensive knowledge of upstream, midstream, and downstream project phases.
  • * Proven track record across all project phases Concept / FEED / EPC / Commissioning / Start-up / Operations.
  • Understand phase-specific deliverables (e.g., PFDs, P&IDs, vendor data, MTOs, fabrication milestones, hook-up schedules, etc.).
