  • Challenging schedule and cost variances against the baseline plan and wider portfolio
  • Assist with people management and resourcing of the project
  • Establish and monitor resource loaded, logic linked, baseline plan(s) for the project in accordance with project and corporate processes
  • Lead project risk analysis sessions and prepare risk mitigation plan(s)
  • Establish robust Work Breakdown Structures in terms of project scope and execution
  • Ensure the reasons for, and the factors influencing each change to the project’s
  • Capture project budgetary costs and resources in the plan to determine time phasing of expenditure and the total project budget
  • Discuss and review plans with management and other stakeholders to identify priorities for construction and communicate the strategy
  • Prepare and present detailed planning information (Gantt charts etc) for use by project team
  • Support the delivery of UKCS’s Sustainability activities
  • Attend and guide progress meetings while building relationships and maintaining
  • Ensure project documentation and files are maintained in line with company
  • Facilitate acceptance of and ensure that the project plan embraces the full project work scope, is fit for purpose and is achievable
  • Collate and disseminate data required for monthly reporting
  • Oversee subcontractors schedules/reporting, including monitoring of contractor
  • Regular interfacing and integration with the project controls team to maintain an
  • Leading, mentoring, and coaching the team of planning engineers across the M&E
  • Talent Builder: Recruits and promotes the best people available to fill current roles
  • Attend and contribute toward industry events
  • Operational Excellence: Plans and organises resources to safely achieve maximum
  • Develop, control, monitor, analyse and report on schedule related aspects for the
  • Integrate 3rd party schedules (Vendors & Subcontractors) and data into the overall
  • Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm
  • Interface with other departments regarding the project’s activities which may have an impact and ensure correctly captured data is input to the schedule and portfolio
  • Report slippages against project baseline and advise potential impact on project critical activities
  • Maintain and control project baselines in line with clients’ procedures and guidance
  • Ensuring documents are compliant with latest works information and kept Up To Date and reviewed on a minimum 6 monthly basis
  • Leading the M&E Planning team with key interface to the other business units/lead
  • Lead on EVM (Earned Value Management) and practice within the project schedules
