Senior Drafter

Description

We are seeking a versatile Draftsman to support both our real estate development and construction projects. The role involves preparing and updating architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for project planning, authority approvals, marketing, and site execution, ensuring compliance with Dubai regulations and project specifications.

• Ensure all drawings comply with Dubai Municipality, RERA, DLD, and other relevant authority requirements.
• Convert design concepts, sketches, and consultant drawings into detailed plans for authority submissions, marketing materials, and construction execution.
• Maintain an organized drawing library and version control system for all projects.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and site teams for approvals and clarifications.
• Prepare and update architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
• Support preparation of layouts for brochures, presentations, and project marketing campaigns when needed.
• Produce shop drawings and as-built drawings reflecting actual site conditions.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and coordination skills for liaising with multiple departments.
• Experience preparing both authority submission drawings and construction/shop drawings.
• Knowledge of 3D visualization and presentation software (SketchUp, 3ds Max, Lumion) is advantageous.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Architectural Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of UAE building codes, authority approvals, and construction practices.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or other design/BIM software is a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Draftsman in real estate development and/or construction in Dubai.
