  • Build and construct wooden forms.
  • Read blueprints and specification to determine the scope of work: locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required.
  • Construct, re-enforce and dismantle pre-constructed concrete forms.
  • Must follow all company and site rules and regulations.
  • Identify all tools required for tasks.
  • Measure, mark, and cut required wooden/metallic materials to required specifications.
  • Identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks.
  • Clean up/housekeeping of work areas.
  • Work on miscellaneous construction projects such as but not limited to building decks and steps, building bulletin boards, and building any additional wooden structures.

  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Experience working with concrete and rebar.
  • Current Zachry or Zachry ROF’ed employee.
  • Must be able to meet all physical requirements.
  • Must be able to compute basic arithmetic functions, measure, mark, and cut equipment and materials to specification.
  • Must be able and willing to follow all safety rules and regulations.
  • Must be willing to work safely and follow all safety rules and regulations.
  • Must be able to read blueprints, sketches, or building plans.
  • Former experience working with Zachry Industrial, Inc.
  • Must have 3+ years working as a carpenter or civil journeyman in an industrial plant.
  • Must be able to work over 8 – 10 hours a day
  • Must have knowledge of materials, tools, and processes involved with basic building techniques and form construction.
  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
  • Must have Carpentry experience and experience working in an industrial plant.
  • Must have all Knowledge Skills and Abilities for positions (see below).
  • Must be willing to assist other crafts and perform additional job duties while not performing primary craft duties.
  • Formal/Technical education.
  • Must be able to work full work schedule and any additional overtime as needed.
  • National Center for Construction Education and Research’s (NCCER) certification for Industrial Journeyman Carpenter.
  • Must be able to read blueprints, plans, and drawings proficiently to perform duties.
