You will report directly to the Regional Commissioning Manager

and your role will supervise and control all electrical site activities in the most efficient manner, to the specification and within the contract time without risk to the health and safety of all concerned and providing a quality end product, ensuring a Quality installation as the work progresses.

  • Monitor supply chain performance and programme
  • Assist with compilation of project takeover documentation
  • As Electrical Appointed Person, ensure electrical safety rules are adhered to and supporting documentation is produced in line with CMDP electrical safety rules.
  • Keep a daily diary of site activities.
  • Oversee electrical testing is being undertaken in line with BS7671, review test results against guidance note 3 and manufacturers literature.
  • Attend collaborative planning meetings and have an active role in developing site delivery programmes
  • Attend site inductions and toolbox talks.
  • Hold 121’s with supply chain supervisors as required ensuring take 5s are carried out.
  • Ensuring SHE standards are maintained and safe systems of work are being adhered to.
  • Carry out electrical isolations.
  • Verification of new electrical systems
  • Carry out regular electrical safety inspections on temporary and permanent equipment.
  • Support Commissioning activities where required.
  • Review and monitor supplier inspection and test plans ensuring they are up to date and relevant to the work activity.
  • Supervision of site Electrical installations
  • Issue limitation of access permits
  • Ensuring a high-quality product is being produced in line with current standards and specifications.
