- Assist with channel strategy execution.
- Support pricing and profitability efforts.
- Contribute to product line simplification and SKU rationalization efforts.
- Support new product development projects within assigned categories.
- Participate in Voice of Customer (VOC) processes and marketing campaigns.
- Develop understanding of product life cycle and portfolio positioning.
- Learn how demand forecasts are created and used in Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.
- Promote Safety as the Number One priority of all OMG employees.
- Participate in quality issue monitoring and communication.
- Begin building product and market knowledge; observe trends and competitor activity.
- Assist in sales training execution and customer support.
- Present prepared materials to internal teams and customers.

- Support fill rate performance initiatives through analysis and internal coordination.

- Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to influence people.
- Able to work flexible hours with some weekends required.
- Learn to interpret sales data and identify early trends.
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, marketing or product management.
- Ability to stand, walk and sit for long periods of time; talk and hear, both in person and by telephone; handle or feel objects or controls, reach with hands and arms; and occasionally lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships inside and outside the organization at all levels.
- Strong PC skills including experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to participate in construction job site visits.
- Gain familiarity with cost structure (BOM, value streams).
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle while maintaining focus on safe driving and avoiding all distractions when behind the wheel, especially cell phones.
- Positive attitude, good judgment and excellent time management skills.
- Ability to travel up to 10 - 15%.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and accomplish things in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, demonstrating a strong bias for action.
