Performs job preparation and layout utilizing vendor data, drawings and other available information.
Troubleshoot systems controls and malfunctions in various devices, analog and digital, including Distributed Control & Programmable Logic Controller systems.
Efficiently uses computer technology to maintain, troubleshoot and update devices, controllers and equipment.
Obtains/orders the necessary materials to support the maintenance of plant instruments and controls.
Efficiently uses computer technology operate work management systems, to access work orders, input historical data, report time and order parts.
Safely handles and disposes of hazardous materials and waste according to laws and regulations.
Utilizes available documentation, drawings and schematics to identify and troubleshoot problems.
Performs preventative maintenance and provides feedback on follow up work and maintenance program improvement.
Assessment, calibration, repair and installation of power plant control devices.
Provides training for other facility personnel in identified maintenance tasks.

Employee must work safely and efficiently in the performance of their job duties. Must maintain effective working relationships with other employees, customers and the public.
