  • Comply with all Company Rules and Regulations, including the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974. COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations and the 1990 Rule Book & Appendices and LUL (London Underground Limited) Safety Directive 504.
  • Ensuring keeping up to date with all service bulletins and new procedures.
  • Carry out train maintenance and repairs as detailed in the Work Instructions, to company standards as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
  • Using tools, plant and equipment in accordance with safety standards and processes.
  • Checking and monitoring own work.
  • Ensuring that quality systems are always adhered to.
  • Contributing to the team and continuous development to improve the skill base of the depot.
  • You have an active email address where correspondence, invitations to assessment events and practice material can be sent
  • Carry out Rolling Stock testing procedures and fault diagnostic duties when appropriate.
  • Carry out electrical and mechanical tasks, ensuring standards of work comply with safe and efficient mechanical and electrical working practices.
