Plan, coordinate, promote, and execute all events hosted or co-hosted by Communications
Provide RICK Hub and other as-needed communications trainings for staff and support all RICK Hub Champions

Collaborate with members of the Communications team, HR team, division leaders, and others to advance a wide variety of communications initiatives
Play an integral role in the development, design, building, promotion, training, and maintenance efforts for our award-winning, interactive intranet platform, the RICK Hub
Curate, create, coordinate, and manage content, news stories, and resources for the RICK Hub, working with staff across the company
Provide internal communications support for company initiatives, including but not limited to the Strategic Plan, Inclusive Community Committee, Cultural Habits Program, RICK Activities Committee (RAC), and others
Manage and lead or co-lead communications support and strategy for other internal programs, initiatives, and needs across the company, both by groups or offices and company wide
Serve as a solutions-oriented, valued member of our Communications team, working to support needs across the company and enhance multiple aspects of RICK’s internal and external communications
Gain a solid understanding of our brand, our divisions, and the industry we work in, and conduct vital research to inform and develop ideas to enhance our communications
Manage, enhance, and design graphics as needed for the RICK Hub
Provide communications-related support for company events, social gatherings, career fairs, committees, etc. and coordinate event promotions before and after in cooperation with other departments, staff, offices, etc.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Professional; experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Teams is desirable
Work, school, and/or volunteer experience in a comparable role/roles
Experience with graphic design and the ability to create thoughtful original designs, work from templates, and use graphic design programs effectively (e.g., Canva, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.) for a variety of needs and projects
Understanding of organization, curation, and coordination for content and resource sharing
Event-planning and event support skills
Excellent written communication skills, including aptitude in writing, structure, grammar, interviewing, strategy, content creation, and editing
Strong passion for communications across multiple aspects and platforms
Strong understanding of internal communications climates, needs, and strategy with the initiative to learn more

Experience with and proficiency in interactive intranet platforms
Familiarity with the AEC industry, or the aptitude to pick it up quickly
Eye for and intermediate skills in graphic design/layout using various programs
Strong time-management skills, with the ability to multi-task
Interest in and experience with company and/or social event support and participation
Experience with and an understanding of writing internal news articles and news pieces
