Receiving Clerk

Description

• Unload: Unload trucks by forklift (certification). Unload products off trucks by pallet jack and or by hand.
• Organize: Make sure all materials are in designated receiving area. Receive in order of receipt.
• Computer and ERP System Use: Perform basic computer tasks and navigate the ERP system for receiving and inventory control functions.
• Monitor: Watch dock for vendors and suppliers. Sign for what you receive only.
• 5S Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace following the 5S methodology.

Requirements

• Skills: Strong attention to detail, accuracy in counting, and ability to read and interpret documents.
• Technical Proficiency: Competency with a tape measure, basic computer operations, and ERP systems.
• Inventory Management: Apply foundational knowledge of inventory management principles.
• Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced environment and be willing to learn and perform additional duties as needed.
• Warehouse Knowledge: Apply basic warehouse knowledge to enhance operational efficiency.
• Experience: Previous experience in warehouse receiving or a similar role preferred.
• Read and Write: Must be able to read and write English. Documentation must match system
• Work Environment: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.
