Supporting Senior Engineers in the analysis, design and calculations related to design of different highway/roadway components.
Ensure delivery of project in accordance with quality, timescales, and budget.
Produce and review design solutions from outline briefs, correctly interpret data and effectively communicate to others.
Maintain records of all design calculations/drawings/documents.
Maintain communication and develop ongoing contacts with clients as required.
Produce designs, calculations, specifications and drawings to ensure that technical designs will provide appropriate solution.
Plan, program, co-ordinate and write reports for specific projects.
Work on multiple projects concurrently with limited supervision.
Check design and assessment calculations and review detailed drawings.

Software Skills: 3. Knowledge of and project delivery in Open Roads is a must. Knowledge of Civil 3D and/or 12D is a plus. Infraworks/Navisworks experience is a plus.
AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
Competent level of client service management, i.e. able to interface with clients and to build and maintain lasting, positive relationships with our clients.
Strong organizational and problem resolutions skills.
Good knowledge of all aspects of technical standards and design codes such as AASHTO, Austroads, DMRB.
Design delivery in Open Roads on international projects is a must.
Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff, technical specialists.
Ability to take directions from senior engineers and execute them efficiently.
Minimum 5 to 8 years’ professional experience in the consulting and engineering industry after graduate education, technical knowledge of road design in Open Roads.
A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Master’s degree in Highway/Transportation Engineering with 5 to 8 years of experience in design and documentation of roadway/highway projects. Experience on international projects is a must.
Civil3D and / or Inroads and/or 12D knowledge is a plus.
