Provide staff/managers with technical assistance and supervision in the preparation of proposals and contracts for assigned projects.
Monitors work backlog and the sharing of work within the region and discipline.
New business development and management/maintenance of existing clients. Assist in the development of the annual business plan for the discipline.
Serve as a resource for project managers and staff on assigned projects and manage completion of projects regarding scope, schedule, quality, and budget.
Manage the financial aspects of assigned team(s) and monitor the performance of the business to meet or exceed revenue and/or profit goals.
Performs duties in support of the direction and vision of the overall discipline for their assigned geographic location.
Actively involved in the cross selling of all company services.
Collaborate with other Department Managers within the region and with the Regional Discipline Leader.

Ohio PE license is required (or through reciprocity).
Knowledgeable in best practices, trends, and other influences that affect CED and the environment in which we work, to maintain our position as an industry leader.
10+ years of experience in bridge engineering is required; 7+ years of experience with preparing proposals, developing budgets, tracking budgets and the associated financial management skills necessary to run a team and monitor the performance of the business.
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is required.
Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
