Support the training and mentoring of other machine operators.
The Machine Operator III (1st Shift 10 hour shift) is responsible for overseeing the operation of multiple machines, as needed, supporting the training of other operators, and ensuring optimal efficiency and quality. The Machine Operator III requires strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Participate in process improvement initiatives.
Assist with process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
Conduct machine inspections and support the preventative maintenance process.
Assist with routine machine maintenance, such as cleaning and lubrication, as needed.
Load and unload materials into machines.
Recommend process improvements.
Operate and set up multiple machines, according to standard operating procedures (SOPs), as needed.
Complete and maintain accurate production documentation and logs.
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
Identify and report machine malfunctions and need for minor repairs.
5-8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment operating complex machinery.
Knowledge of machine operations and troubleshooting.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Ability to work overtime, including weekends, as required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be able to lift, push, and move items weighing 40 pounds or more
