Proposal Engineer - Process Services

The Role? To assist with estimating and proposal preparation activities and lead small to mid-size tenders

• Prepare weekly and monthly tender reports
• Document controlling
• Management of tender folders
• Deal with Operations, Procurement, Finance, Contracts, Legal, Tax, BD and other divisions for tender input in a timely manner
• Draft pre and post tender clarifications
• Arrange and facilitate tender kick off calls, assign actions for completion, follow up, compile proposal, and estimate sheets
• To act as lead responsible person for preparation, approvals, submission and close-out of individual RFPs and pre-qualification exercises on small to mid-size tenders
• To assist tender leads with preparation of estimates and proposals for large, complex tenders
• Monthly reporting of submitted, win / loss rates, cancelled
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and maintain clear visibility of the progress on each tender
• Maintain the highest quality of tender formats both internal and external
• Follow the tender approval matrix and ensure correct approvals are in place on a timely manner
• Ensure transparency and traceability of cost build-ups
• Ensure compliance with tender format
• Ensure direct and indirect costs, taxes and overhead costs are build up accurately
• Liaise with third parties and procurement for third party quotes
• Bring in innovative solutions on complex pricing schedules
• Build-up of accurate costs

• Minimum Bachelor of Engineering or QS Degree from a GCC university
• Strong communication skills
