Assist and/or lead in the preparation of client proposals, scopes, cost/quantity estimates, and schedules.
Lead design teams related to flood control, stormwater, and drainage improvement projects, and/or the stormwater/drainage for major infrastructure projects that include other engineering disciplines associated with such improvements.
Peer review plans and provide quality control reviews of engineering documents, reports, plans, technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates.
Lead in the development and preparation of project design elements including plans, specifications, and construction cost estimates.
Oversee and lead design teams of engineers and technicians who utilize CAD software (Bentley MicroStation and Autodesk Civil 3D) who develop two and threedimensional models.
Identify and analyze the principal design features and major design alternatives that satisfy the project’s purpose and the client’s needs.
Manage and lead design teams of engineers and technicians who perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for infrastructure improvement project designs as well as for program master planning.
Lead in the development and preparation of design reports.
Develop design alternatives to be compared against significant project parameters including site conditions, rightofway requirements, utility conflicts, design standards, and cost.
Support multidiscipline design teams on a variety of projects.

Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).
Works on multiple projects concurrently.
Demonstrated experience working with and leading design teams on multiple projects.
Transportation (Caltrans) drainage design experience a plus.
Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license in State of Nevada is preferred or ability to obtain within one year of start date for Senior level roles and within three years of start date for junior level roles.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience: For Junior level roles, desire candidates have a minimum of two years of related work experience, first in the flood control, stormwater, and drainage disciplines, but other civil related experience is considered. For Senior level roles, desire candidates have a minimum of seven years of related work experience in flood control, stormwater, and drainage planning, design, and construction management for projects and programs.
