The analyst will administer commercial matters for assigned projects, aiming to minimize risk and maximize opportunity by identifying and monitoring potential risks, compiling change orders and claims, and recording and forecasting costs to provide an accurate view of project performance.
Key duties include adhering to commercial processes, establishing a commercial strategy with the Commercial and Project Managers, reviewing and responding to contractor correspondence, managing change order submissions, preparing sub‑consultant agreements, administering those agreements, coordinating claims, delivering operating statements and cost‑to‑complete reports, and maintaining logs and analysis to support commercial activities.
STV is seeking a Commercial Analyst to join the Corporate Commercial Project team in a hybrid role (three days per week in the Franklin, TN office). The position requires knowledge of commercial management for Architecture and Engineering design projects, including risk, cost control, and reporting methodologies to protect and maximize STV's financial performance.
Candidates should have up to three years of commercial management experience, technical knowledge of contracts and risk management, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and advanced data analysis and Microsoft Excel abilities. A degree in construction, engineering, or a related discipline is required.
