As the Texas Water/Wastewater Account Leader, you will drive client development, shape positioning and capture strategies, and contribute to proposals and presentations for facility design projects. You will collaborate with Area Leaders and client Account Leaders to define scopes, estimate fees, manage risks, and set up projects for successful, profitable delivery. Coordination with Arcadis technical advisors will support process modeling, facility design, and strategic planning for treatment plants, stormwater systems, and pump stations.
You will mentor junior engineers, support the work of others, and ensure compliance with Arcadis quality and safety standards. Managing a diverse portfolio, you will coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams, oversee budgets and schedules, and provide technical leadership throughout planning, design, and construction phases. Travel of up to 10 % is required for site visits, client meetings, and business development activities.
The ideal candidate has a strong technical engineering background with proven experience delivering water and wastewater treatment plant designs. A record of client development, proposal pursuit, and technical presentations is essential, as is the ability to negotiate and deliver projects with fees of $1 million or more. Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and flexible, you will collaborate across local and remote offices to deliver high‑quality work.
Required qualifications include 15 + years of water/wastewater industry experience, a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline, and a Texas PE license. Preferred qualifications are 20 + years of experience and a Master’s degree in a related field.
