Aerial Lineman

Description

• Lead or assist with telecom construction projects involving larger/heavier cables, including pulling, lashing, transferring, and pole changeouts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the field to keep projects on track.
• Prioritize safety on every job by wearing proper PPE and performing quality work in line with company and industry standards.
• Climb poles or operate a bucket truck to install, relocate, or maintain aerial plant.
• Operate and maintain heavy equipment such as bucket trucks, mini excavators, and drop plows (directional drill experience a plus).
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, construction prints, and work orders.
• Support the foreman and crew with tasks as needed to ensure safe and successful project completion.

Requirements

• You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality
• You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work
• You have a CDLA/B (Preferred)
• You are comfortable working in a bucket truck and climbing poles
• You have a valid Driver's License with a clean record past 3 years.
• You have at least 2 years as an experienced Lineman with extensive knowledge of all equipment needed for aerial work
