- Provides technical support and problem-solving capabilities
- Analysis and update of functional and non-functional traceability matrix
- Performs applications configuration and tuning, performance, uptime, and health monitoring and security patching in support of Energy Management System (EMS) platform
- Execute validation tests, results analysis, defect analysis and triage
- Provide auditable documentation recording the changes on the Energy Management System platform delivered as part of support services
- Provides documentation on test and user procedures
- Deliver weekly report detailing Energy Management System support deliverables completed during the reporting week
- Ensure that the systems database is adequately sized and configured to support all remote field devices utilizing various protocols and calculated values
- Implement technology solutions to optimize the effectiveness of the EMS platform, and help develop appropriate procedures for their implementation and operation
- Ensures quality assurance standards and procedures are followed
- Conduct code review, deployment, testing and monitoring of break/fix patches and modifications
- Perform necessary technical corrective actions to restore failed or failing technical services on EMS platform

- 5+ years of work experience in Power system applications - Power Flow, State Estimator, Contingency Analysis, Load Frequency Control, Dynamic Stability Analysis, Load Forecasting, Operator Training Simulator (OTS)
- Bachelor's Degree: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Required) or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge to a major in such fields
- Experience working in Linux/ Windows Operating systems & working experience with Relational Databases (Oracle, SQL DB) is preferred
- Experience in GE PowerOn Reliance with background in power system applications & concepts
