  • Train team members in proper work task execution
  • Ensure proper labeling and receipt of product
  • Evaluate and assign daily workload
  • Perform daily work tasks as required to meet the deliverables of the department
  • Maintain equipment through determined maintenance schedule
  • Coordinate work assignments, monitor performance and provide training on relevant job duties
  • Report on department and individual performance through assigned metrics, both daily and providing summary data
  • Assign and monitor task to team members, sorting, processing, and loading product
  • Assign and monitor task to team members unloading, receiving, and transporting product
  • Provide daily and frequent oversight of workplace activities
  • Promote a friendly, high performing and relationship-based environment
  • Be mindful of and enforce all Visual Comfort policies, with special attention to safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping standards
  • Provide a clean safe working environment for all personnel and visitors
  • Monitor and approve team member work quality and quantity
  • Provide effective feedback to encourage and improve team member work as required
  • Ensure team members have the necessary tools to complete assigned tasks
  • Coordinate daily staff scheduling and planning

  • Previous supervisory experience (1-3 years preferred)

  • Must have previous warehouse distribution experience in a high-volume, fast passed environment
  • Must have forklift and pallet rider experience
  • Meticulous attention to detail; commitment to producing quality product
  • High School Diploma or GED is required
