

Provides electricity and natural gas to customers in Montana, South Dakota, and Wyoming.
The manager will fuse information technology and operational technology disciplines, creating and executing a unified strategy for industrial control systems, workforce management, outage management and other OT solutions. They will lead the development of a technology roadmap, drive convergence of IT/OT products, and ensure security is embedded from design through deployment.
Leadership duties include directing a team of technologists, fostering partnerships with operational business leaders, vendors and external consultants, and applying change and program management practices to deliver products on time and within budget. The role also oversees talent management, employee engagement, and adherence to safety, ethics and corporate values.
The position manages capital and expense budgets, conducts vendor and technology risk assessments, negotiates contracts, and ensures compliance with state, federal and industry regulations such as SOX, CIP, NIST and COBIT. Regular measurement, monitoring and reporting of program goals and outcomes are required to inform senior leadership.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, possess 8‑10 years of supervisory experience, and demonstrate deep expertise in IT/OT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and compliance frameworks. Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills are essential, as is a proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex technology initiatives.
