Specialist - ERP Application Support - Dynamics Great Plains

We are looking to hire a Specialist, ERP Application Support - Dynamics Great Plains. This role is responsible for managing, optimizing and expanding our core enterprise systems, with a primary focus on our current on-prem application GP Dynamics. This role involves configuring and maintaining the ERP system while bridging business requirements with system capabilities while supporting our growing technology ecosystem. The specialist works closely with the finance team and other departments to streamline processes, provide training, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, this position will provide general systems support of Dynamics GP and must understand SQL Database and the backend table structure.

• Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
• Address and resolve technical issues related to the ERP system.
• Liaise with IT and software vendors for system updates and troubleshooting.
• Provide audit support.
• Manage day-to-day ERP operations, configurations, and customizations.
• Analyze current business processes and identify optimization opportunities.
• Manage integrations between Dynamics Great Plains and auxiliary systems (eg. DocLink, Wennsoft, etc.).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements and workflow optimizations.

• Knowledge of general accounting principles and internal control principles.
• Advanced knowledge of GP Dynamics tables and Wennsoft products.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of accounting principles and/or business practices.
• Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and dependability.
• Experience in project management or process improvement methodologies.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience handling high-priority issues as a self-motivated and independent worker.
• High proficiency in database management and data analysis tools.
• Proven experience with Microsoft GP Dynamics administration and configuration.
• Technical knowledge of SQL Database administration and data manipulation.
• Post-Secondary education in either Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Accounting, or Finance.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
